Giorgio Piccardo
Computer engineer University lecturer PhD candidate in Cybersecurity
Agentic AI, generative AI and cybersecurity: I build them, research them and teach them.
01 About
I'm a computer engineer based in Rome, registered with the Italian Order of Engineers. I work on artificial intelligence, generative and above all agentic, and on cybersecurity: I design digital systems, from user experience down to infrastructure.
I'm a co-founder of LEAF and ChaingeWave. I teach at Luiss Guido Carli, in degree courses, master's programmes and training for public institutions, and at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. At Sapienza I'm doing a PhD in Cybersecurity on the security of AI agents.
Outside work: swimming, digital minimalism and an around-the-clock passion for the world of agentic AI.

The two companies I work on every day.
LEAF
An Italian innovative SME in AI and emerging technologies: we close the gap between frontier research and business execution. Advisory, products and training on applied AI, machine learning, synthetic data and edge AI.

My PhD in Cybersecurity at Sapienza, in collaboration with Luiss, studies the security of LLM-based agents: how they can be attacked and manipulated, and how they behave when many of them interact.

04 Teaching
I teach at university and in several professional master's programmes: artificial intelligence, generative AI, computer science, machine learning and cybersecurity.
